Hey, everyone! I am back from my maternity leave and ready for the second semester of school! What an interesting year! I hope you all have enjoyed virtual learning. As we continue to move toward hybrid learning some students will remain virtual while others have chosen to return to the school on March 1. I can't wait to see you all! I am currently working with the first grade team, co-teaching with Mrs. West, and doing RTI for KK-1, but will be working with all grades during this new adventure and transition for us.

Extra Credit for Quarter 3
Good evening! I hope you and your family are doing well! As you all probably received Dr. Breeden's phone call about extra credit points added on to the 3rd 9 weeks final grade, I would like to provide you with some specifics.
1. It is an OPTIONAL 3-5 extra credit points added on the the 3rd 9 weeks ONLY. It will be added to the Q3 final grade for Reading, Math, and Science if you choose to complete it for each of those subjects.
2. If you would like to do extra credit to possibly raise your students grade in one of those 3 subjects all work is due by May 10th- we won't be allowed to extend it due to them closing out the 3rd nine week report cards online.
3. For reading extra credit I will be taking 1 point extra credit for up to 5 points for every AR book read and passed with 80% or higher between now and May 10th. (You can use ANY book from Epic (message me if you need access), books you have at home, or the books that Mrs. Flory has recorded and posted to her website for second grade students.)
4. For math extra credit I will be taking 1 point per lesson passed on Iready Math for up to 5 points total starting today through May 10th.
5. For science extra credit I have attached the map project. It's worth 5 points.
Once you complete it, let me know so I can confirm!
Please let me know if you have any questions and/or concerns. I am here to help you!
