Kindness Counts & Summer Packets

Sam, Phoenix, and Lexi all worked super hard over the summer doing summer homework packets!!! They were able to be out of uniform today! Kailyn and LeBron were pulled from the Kindness Counts Cow for Favorite Shirt Friday!

Mr. Wally Yankee Candle Fundraiser

Mr. Wally came to WSE yesterday to promote the Yankee Candle Fundraiser! It was a blast! Order forms are due by September 9th! If your child sells two or more items he/she will be able to attend the Wii dance party!!

Kindness Counts

Each Thursday draw two names from our Kindness Counts Cow to see who will be able to wear his/her favorite shirt on Friday! I drew 4 this week because we weren't able to draw any last week. Congratulations to these sweet kids! 

COMPLIMENTS

We try so very hard to get compliments from other teachers. Each time we receive a compliment, we move the fox clip to the next letter. When it gets to the last letter we get to have a compliment party! We get a treat and extra recess! Today we had extra recess and popcicles!

Creative Writing

We used Play-Doh to spark our interest in writing on Friday. The students had to make a creation out of the Play-Doh. We had so much fun doing this!!! Afterwards they had to write a main idea, 3 details, and a closing sentence about their creations!

Annual Title 1 Meeting/Parent Night

Our Annual Title One/Meet the Teacher Night/Curriculum Night will be held next Thursday, August 20th at 5:30pm

The Title One meeting will be from 5:30-6:00, and then there will be TWO sessions of Meet the Teacher. This will help parents who need to go to multiple rooms.  

Session 1: 6:00- 6:45

Session 2: 6:50-7:30
