iPad!!!!!!

Our iPad from Donors Choose got here on Thursday! The kids did not know about it. I had them guess what was in the box, shake it a little, and help me open it. We were all super wild with excitement! 

Yay for these sweet students!

Grayson, Nia, Sam, and Kallie were drawn to wear their favorite shirt today! Nia was drawn from the Caught Ya Being Good jar and was also able to eat Chick-Fil-A with the principal for lunch!

The students were having fun while brainstorming different kinds of nouns. 

Classroom Bullying Lesson

The school counselor, social worker, and intern presented a classroom bullying lesson today. It was so cute, and the kids loved it!

Lunch Bunch

Christopher, Sam, Kyra, Tiyana, Ja'Marionn, Rylie, Micah, Joshua, and Cameron all used their Lunch Bunch tickets today! I enjoyed eating lunch with these kiddos!

Behavior Prize Catalog

If a student does not sign the Sad Pad then he or she gets to choose a coupon from our behavior prize catalog! We choose coupons every other Friday. Ashton used his stuffed animal coupon on Monday and Andres used a coupon to sit in my rolling chair for the day! So many students were able to choose coupons last Friday! Keep up the great behavior, 2-05!

Kindness Counts!!

Sam & Cameron were the first two students picked for their kind and respectful behavior! Each Thursday we draw from our Kindness Counts Cow in the classroom to see who will be able to wear their favorite shirt on Friday. It has lots of names in it!

The First Day of Second Grade 2014-2015

A New School Year 2014-2015

I cannot wait to meet my new group of friends on Monday! This will be my 5th year teaching second grade at WSE and I'm excited for this new school year to begin!

Last Day of Second Grade 2013-2014

I enjoyed watching all of my students grow this school year.  We celebrated the last day of school by having game day.  The last day of the school year is always a bittersweet day!

We had an earlier ice cream celebration at the end of the year.  I unfortunately don't have any pictures of that, except for my awesome piece of art that the kids made for me!  I absolutely adore my thumbprint tree from 2-05! My kids did an amazing job of keeping it a secret! Thanks, Beth Hale!!!

Field Day Fun

Field Day is the day that students wait for the whole school year! We always have such a blast! Thanks to everyone who helped out and made this such a memorable event for our kiddos!
