What does the shape say?
My Brilliant Foxes are loving geometry!!!
We have been diving deep into analyzing 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes this week. The students have been comparing and contrasting 2D and 3D shapes. They are learning all about edges, faces, and vertices. Today we were breaking apart shapes and creating shapes. Next week we will learn more geometry skills, such as symmetry and rotations, translations, and reflections.
Family Math and Science Night
Tonight was a blast!! We are currently studying geometry, so the second grade table consisted of making 2D and 3D shapes! So fun!!!!
The kids were able to enjoy several vendors and different grade-level activities.
